One big, weird, happy family…
What are some examples of celebrities that have gotten divorced, remarried, and then created a brand new extended family that works?
Here's what Rumer Willis, daughter of actors Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, said about her father and step-father Ashton Kutcher in Us Magazine…
"If we weren’t all entirely morally opposed to doing a reality show," she adds, "I guarantee it would be the best-selling reality show ever.”
She says Kutcher — who wed Moore in 2005 — "is so cool. He definitely is a father-slash-older brother figure, but at the same time I can still go out with him and have an amazing time."
She thanks her mom and dad (and step-dad!) for keeping her so grounded.
“Sure, I have my issues, but I’m not in rehab. I’m not in crazy debt. I like the fact that I didn’t just get my GED, but I graduated from high school," Willis, 19, says. "A lot of it has to do with my parents. They have a desire to keep us [kids] grounded and give us a normal upbringing.”
How cool would this be to have if you were the child of divorce???
In June of 2007, Bruce Willis himself gave a shout-out to friend Will Smith for planting the seeds….
some very dark hours he talked to me about it. He said, 'Dude, you've
got to do whatever it takes to get the kids and all the spouses or the
girlfriend together. You've got to show your kids it's okay.' It was

Well, it’s something to shoot for at least, you know?!
And I agree, it’s all the old baggage that gets in the way. Question is, what can people do to work through that stuff? Now more than ever, there are a ton of tools out there that actually *work* to dissolve a lot of the leftover ick, if one feels so inclined….
It’s not perfect in our little circle, but it basically works…. Course, it took us a few years to get there.
Just out of curiosity, what’s your situation like?
