  1. Tracy Pardy says:

    Carol and Jennifer,

It’s been nine months since my husband’s ex-wife, the children’s mother and I have been speaking. Prior to that (2 years ago) it was never, she wouldn’t even look at me. The day I was ill from work and happened to watch Dr. Phill changed our lives, the children’s lives most importantly. I can’t say things are 100% but they are good. Sometimes it can be a rollercoaster but I keep trucking along. The two of you are very inspiring and what you are doing with your book, this website and the coaching I believe is something that should be broadcasted to the entire world. If more blended families would see that it’s okay to get along and work things out, there would be so much heartached healed in the children. It’s amazing that all of us (the parents/step-parents) want nothing more than to protect the children and give them all the love in the world yet at the same time with the destruction and (sand-throwing from the sandbox) we can break their hearts.

I sincerely thank the two of you for letting down your walls and for not just stopping at your own families but also helping to inspire so many more!

Blessed Merry Christmas to your family!

    Tracy
    Grateful Step-mom
